Giving Thanks/Danksagung

for Moroccan chicken stew with salad and bread sticks and apple cider jello as dessert (kind of unusual for Thanksgiving, I know, but still delicious),
für einen marokkanischen Hühnertopf am amerikanischen Erntedankfest,

for playing in the snow during the day,
für Spielen im Schnee am Tag,

 and at night,
und abends,

for racing this orange car (can you spot it?),
für ein Rennen mit diesem orangefarbenen Auto (ja, wo ist es denn?),

there you go,
da ist es,

and thanks for this year's Thanksgiving Doodle
und danke für das Erntedankfest Doodle von diesem Jahr!

  1. Eva,

It sounds like you had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving with your family. I loved looking at all the photos. What a lot of snow! The doodle was great too.

    God bless!

    1. Thanks, Sue! The children were happy and the snow keeps coming.

I have enjoyed your recent posts, but I don't find the time to comment so much. I'm trying to catch up here at home before I have to teach again on Monday.

    2. Eva,

I know what you mean about not finding time to comment. Please read if you can but don't worry about stopping to say hello. I'm finding it hard to keep up with everything too, and I don't work outside the home like you do.

      God bless!

    1. Thanks, San, it was quite relaxed and simple, unlike most American Thanksgiving celebrations. I did read a Thanksgiving story about the Pilgrims, though.

    2. I could not imagine you going over the top with food and decorations! Peaceful simplicity sounds good to me!
