One sad piece of news: Due to very heavy snow fall in the area the delivery truck for our washing-machine was unable to reach our little village. Now we have to wait another week!!
Veronika hat sich heute eine Kette aus Indianermais gemacht. Sie hat den ganzen Tag fleißig daran gearbeitet, um sie fertig zu bekommen. Sie war so glücklich, wie hübsch die fertige Kette war.
Jonahtan und Charlotte üben im Moment Weihnachtsmusik auf der Block- und Altflöte. Penny Gardner hat schön zusammengestellte Lieder ausgewählt, die man als Buch kostengünstig ausdrucken kann.
Flora hat gedacht, daß Miriams Puppe Gänseblümchen auch ein Buch vorgelesen bekommen muß. Dafür hat sie sich die Theorie der Novelle
, ein Buch aus meiner Germanistikstudienzeit, ausgesucht!
Zum Schluß noch eine traurige Nachricht: Aufgrund heftiger Schneefälle konnte unsere neue Waschmaschine nicht geliefert werden. Jetzt müssen wir noch eine Woche warten.

Hello San, some friends have offered us to use their washing machine, but I always feel kind of embarrassed to accept an offer like this because we have a lot of laundry. So we've been using the local laundromat. I'm counting the days, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment on Veronika's necklace. I never thought about it, but she can be very persistent and patient when she really wants something. She also likes things in order. Good observation, sometimes other people notice things in your children you didn't know were there.
